Nice! I had thought about mounting a gauge so that it was sticking out of the side of the gun the way you did it but I wasn't sure how it would look. Looks great on yours though!

Oh, I like this! Great variations on a theme! I've never seen anyone do a steampunk like the "Ivory" before... what a wonderfully fresh look.

thanks again. Wanted to try something slightly different with this set. However ill be honest, I'll never attempt an "Ivory" piece again. Working with white made me want to gouache out my eyeballs lol.

I bet! I've had more luck using lighter colors when I airbrush, but I can see why most folks would avoid them. This gun looks like the old American "Great White Fleet" which I always thought was an attractive transition period... for warships, anyway. ;)

I'm dabbling a bit into steam punk wares (more guns then wares for now though) and I thought I would make my two identical hand guns into an ebony and ivory kind of thing. Just thought I'd post a pic to my own ebony, show you what you inspired. Ivory's being a little bitch with her makeup and wont be done till at the very least tomorrow though.

I love the pressure gage on ivory. Their both the same guns but they look entirely different. awesome job.

thank you, that was the idea. I originally thought about making them identical but decided against it. That wouldn't be very steampunk =P

So are they coincidentally two guns called ebony and ivory or is there going to be a steampunk Dante to look forward to?
